This high-capacity carbon is ideal for the quick removal of common aquarium medications and can be used in canister filters or dedicated media reactors.

For Use in a Canister Filters and Sumps:
Pour the desired amount Ultra Carbon into a fine mesh media bag and close securely. Prior to use, rinse with RO/Di (reverse osmosis/deionized) or dechlorinated tap water to remove dust from storage and transport. Place into a canister filter as you would other filtration media. For use in a sump, place in an area with high flow and away from pump intake.

For Use in a Dedicated Media Reactor:
Ensure your reactor is appropriate for carbon. Add the desired amount of media to your reactor. A course reactor sponge should be placed above and below Super Pellet to prevent tumbling of the media. Excessive movement can cause the media to pulverize into a fine dust which may enter the aquarium.
